CHAPEL HILL - It was a slow week in some respects, with the Tar Heel student-athletes focusing on the "student" portion of their classification during the first week of spring semester final exams.  But before exams began, the Carolina famliy joined together to celebrate the 2012-13 school year at the Rammy Awards.


THE RAMMYS:  The Tar Heel athletics family gathered last Monday night for the inaugural Rammy Awards ... Watch the all-sports video ... Watch the "All I Do Is Win" music video.

BASEBALL:  On Wednesday night, Hobbs Johnson struck out nine in a 13-0 win over The Citadel ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will host James Madison on Tuesday and Wednesday, then visit Georgia Tech for a three-game series in Atlanta starting on Friday.

FOOTBALL:  Former Tar Heel great Kelvin Bryant was inducted into the N.C. Sports Hall of Fame.

MEN'S LACROSSE:  Frankie Kelly was announced as a finalist for the Yeardley Love Unsung Hero Award ... Carolina is the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament ... UP NEXT:  UNC will host Lehigh on Saturday at noon at Fetzer Field (ESPN2).

WOMEN'S LACROSSE:  Zoe Skinner was named a finalist for the Yeardley Love Unsung Hero Award ... Carolina is the No. 3 seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will host a game on Friday at 5 p.m. between Loyola and High Point ... The winner will play the Tar Heels on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Fetzer Field.

MEN'S TENNIS:  Esben Hess-Olesen earned All-ACC honors and an NCAA Tournament bid.

WOMEN'S TENNIS:  Carolina grabbed the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament ... Four Tar Heel individuals earned singles bids to the NCAA Tournament ... UP NEXT:  UNC opens NCAA play on Friday.

TRACK & FIELD:  The Tar Heels took part in the Duke Twilight event ... UP NEXT:  Last-chance events at Virginia, NC State and Georgia Tech next weekend.

WRESTLING:  "Bridging the Gap" is a documentary film on the Tar Heel wrestling season.
