Tar Heels Ranked No. 10, Highest In Program History

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina was voted No.10 in the nation in this week's AVCA Division I Coaches Poll, jumping one spot from No. 11. This is the highest ranking in program history.

The Tar Heels are now 15-0, 4-0 in the ACC, continuing their best start in school history. Carolina currently has a 29-game winning streak in Chapel Hill dating back to October 2011.

UNC took its ACC streak on the road Friday, sweeping Syracuse with comebacks in the final two sets. Carolina finished their weekend on the road with a 3-0 win at Boston College.

Up next for Carolina are in-state rivals as they host Duke on Friday night at 7 p.m. and Wake Forest on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Friday's match against the Blue Devils will be Carolina volleyball's annual Turn It Pink night at Carmichael Arena to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
