UNC To Face FSU In Regular Season Finale
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 1 North Carolina will host No. 7 Florida State on Monday, May 20 at Boshamer Stadium UNC head coach Mike Fox announced Thursday.

The non-conference tilt is scheduled to get underway at 6 p.m. and will be the first meeting between the current ACC division leaders since 2011. The two teams have failed to meet on the diamond the past two seasons due to ACC scheduling.

"We are excited that we were able to get this game together," North Carolina head coach Mike Fox said. "We both had a game to play and it is a great opportunity to play one of the top teams in the country. It should be a great test for our team heading into the ACC Tournament."

Both teams will be coming off key ACC series in the lead up to the ACC Tournament which begins Wednesday, May 22 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.

"It worked out perfectly for us to play," said Florida State head coach Mike Martin. "We are both short a game and why wait when we both welcome the opportunity to play. It's a win-win for both schools and we are just glad to get the chance to play them this year."

All tickets will be $10 and will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11.

A special presale opportunity will be available to season and mini-season ticket holders, Diamond Heel members and Rams Club members and will be sent via email.
